A good friend is a rare find, so make sure you recognize who your true friends are and never take them for granted. When you're at your highest, you want to share your good times with your friends; and subsequently, when you're at your lowest, it's always your friends who are there to catch you before you fall. Really, life is meant to be lived with friends all around you. Of course, that doesn't mean you need to have a million of them or spend every waking hour with them. In fact, a great friend you might not see for years, but when your paths do cross again, you'll pick up things exactly where you left off. True friendship takes time and commitment, just like any relationship might. You have to give a little and your friend has to give a little... but as for the results of that sacrifice? Well, let's just say they're completely worth it.
