The 90's revival has been in full swing for quite some time now, from rainbow hair color, to crop tops, to platform shoes. Makeup looks inspired by the 90's are also on the rise. These looks from the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 runway shows take us back to a decade when bold lips, matte shadows, and funky glitter dominated. Check out the 6 makeup trends from the 90's, we think are here to stay!
1. Vampy Lips

Matte burgundy pouts made popular during the mid-90's have had a resurgence over the past few years. Miu Miu's Spring 2016 show featured clean faces with dramatic vampire lips.
2. Skinny Brows
At the Ashley Williams Spring 2016 show, models walked the runway with dramatic, pencil thin brows reminiscent of the popular shape of the 90's. While bushy, natural brows don't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, thinner brows have been popping up again lately.
3. Unconventional Lip Color
Unconventional lip colors have become popular again over the past few years, and the Prada Spring 2016 show had models walking the runway with gorgeous opaque gold lips. Whether you're a fan of blue, sparkles, or neon orange, the sky's still the limit for funky lip colors.
The glitter makeup trend of the late 90's appeared on the models at the Spring 2016 Dries Van Noten show in the form of a thin stripe of liner. Lashes were left bare to make this look youthful and fresh.
5. Brown Lipstick
Cocoa, espresso, and caramel shades have been making a comeback. Timid about trying this 90's revival trend? Look for a shade a few shades darker than your natural skin tone, or find a shade with a reddish tint. Looking to go bold? Try a dark chocolate shade with lots of shimmer.
6. Supermodel Makeup
The Fall 2015 Denis Basso show sent models out with flawless complexions, flushed lips, strong brows, and smokey eyes done in shades of brown and beige, creating a look reminiscent of the bombshell supermodels of the 90's.
